The lodge at Newlands is perfect for bigger groups of friends. The spacious bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms provide a luxurious getaway. The lodge offers fantastic views of the woods from every angle and has a hot tub with amazing forest views. It's peaceful and quiet, making it an ideal location to relax and escape. The lodge is also great for dogs and offers plenty of opportunities for walks.

Felt like treated like royalty, no reason to complain.

The lodges were beautiful and the rooms were spacious and well-decorated. The location was stunning, with incredible views of the countryside. It was a peaceful and tranquil setting, perfect for a weekend getaway. The lodges had all the necessary amenities, including local taxis and nearby grocery shops, so we didn't have to worry about being stuck without necessities.

The check-in and check-out times were a bit inconvenient. The check-in was quite late and the check-out was early, which didn't give us much time to fully enjoy our stay, especially considering our long journey to reach the hotel.

the lodge itself was beautifully decorated and had comfortable beds. the on, suite bathroom had stunning views and was perfect for a relaxing bath. the outdoor hot tub was a luxurious addition. It was also convenient to have local taxis and grocery shops nearby.

The late check, in and early check, out times, especially considering the long journey I had to make. I wish there was more flexibility in this regard.

We recently stayed at Newlands Lodges for a weekend getaway and had an amazing time. The location was perfect for our dog and the surrounding area was great for walks. The lodge itself was luxurious, clean, and new, with beautiful bedrooms and spacious bathrooms. The views of the woods were stunning from every angle, and the hot tub provided an incredible view of the forest. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet during our stay. it was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back.

I recently had a wonderful 2/3 night stay at a beautiful lodge in Shotley Bridge. the lodge was absolutely fantastic, with four stunning double rooms, one of which had a luxurious free-standing bath in the en suite. the layout of the downstairs area was perfect for entertaining, and the grounds were great for dogs. the highlight of the stay was definitely the superb hot tub, which was cleaned every morning. the owners were incredibly helpful and even went out of their way to bring us extra toilet roll. the whole place was impeccably clean and cozy, with unique features like a jacuzzi, a fireplace, and a bath by the window. the beds were big and comfortable, and having Netflix on the TVs was a great bonus. the views from each window were absolutely blissful, and our dog loved the place too. it truly felt like a home away from home, and we can't wait to visit again. Cons: Nothing not to like! .

The only minor inconvenience was the lack of blinds on the top bedroom windows. we were assured that this issue would be resolved for future stays.

just got back from a 2/3 night stay in shotley bridge and the maple lodge at newlands lodges blew us away! beautiful rooms, stunning grounds, and a hot tub that was on point. the owners were so helpful and even brought us more toilet roll. can't wait to visit again!
